This smoothie is refreshing and a delicious snack for any time of the year. Try it with a scoop of protein powder for a powerful breakfast!
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/2 Cup of Coconut Water
- 1 Cup of Curly Kale* Washed with Stems Removed
- 1/2 Cup of Ice
- 1 Frozen Banana**
- Juice of Half a Lemon
Add everything but the frozen banana and the ice to a blender and blend at a high speed until it becomes thick and smooth. Add more coconut water to get the consistency you want. Add the frozen banana and blend until smooth. Lastly, add the ice and blend until smooth.
*This type of kale has more fluffy texture than a flat kind of kale.
