Roasted Chickpeas Recipe


Time to power up your meals with delicious chickpeas! Chickpeas are a great source of protein, the building blocks of strength. Protein helps to reduce appetite and hunger, help increase muscle mass and strength, is excellent for your bones, curbs cravings and boosts your metabolism, among other benefits.

We’ve got a quick recipe for delicious roasted chickpeas that are great on salads, soups, or even as a standalone snack! These are so tasty and add an extra serving of nutrition to your meals!

You’ll need:

  • 1.5 cups of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Paprika, curry powder… whatever spices you want to flavor them with!

Preheat your oven to 425. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Soak up as much liquid from the chickpeas as possible. Drizzle the olive oil and toss the chickpeas, then spread them out evenly on the baking sheet. Roast them in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until crisp and golden brown. Once they come out of the oven, toss them in your favorite spices. Enjoy!
